                ISO 14502-2:2005规定了一种高效液相色谱（HPLC）方法，用于从单个儿茶素的总和中测定茶叶中的总儿茶素含量。它适用于茶叶和速溶绿茶，对红茶的精度有限制。
没食子酸和咖啡因以及茶没食子酸和茶黄素也可以用这种方法测定。

ISO 14502-2:2005 specifies a high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for the determination of the total catechin content of tea from the summation of the individual catechins. It is applicable to both leaf and instant green tea, and with precision limitations to black tea. 
Gallic acid and caffeine can also be determined by this method, as can theogallin and theaflavins.
